New general manager for Group 4

G4S Security Services (Malta) has appointed Julian Dimech as general manager, marking a new phase in the organisation's growth and development in this sector.

Dimech, an engineering graduate has worked for over 25 years in the medical devices and pharmaceutical sector, starting at the manufacturing level and progressing to R&D and reaching the pinnacle of local managing director of a global company. He has extensive experience of working in a number of counties spanning diverse markets and regulatory environments. In his most recent position Dimech was responsible for the strategic direction, governance and management of two large manufacturing facilities in Malta and Tunisia.

"Julian is a highly regarded and proven leader with broad commercial and senior management experience in Malta and abroad. Attributes that will serve G4S well in the on-going integration of the Local Enforcement operations into one holistic organisation," Kenneth De Martino, G4S Malta chairman said.
