Air Malta launches competitions ahead of airshow

Air Malta is giving away 10 free flights to celebrate this year's airshow being held this weekend at Malta International Airport. These flights can be won by participants in an online competition being launched during the event.

Participants need only to log into www.airmaltaraffle.com during the days of the airshow (Saturday and Sunday) and fill in their details. 10 lucky entrants, selected at random from participants, will be contacted by Air Malta representatives and asked a simple question about the airline. Those who correctly answer the question will win a free flight (excluding taxes) to any of the airline's scheduled destinations.

Currently Air Malta is also running a competition through its Facebook page whereby two creative Red Arrows fans will be offered the opportunity of a lifetime - to meet their idols in person in a most unusual setting, on a moonlit cruise through the Grand Harbour aboard the Fernandes.

Contestants are asked to submit a photo, which they have taken themselves, of anything, or anyone, in flight formation. They could capture objects which happen to be placed in one of the Red Arrows' signature formations, or set the whole thing up themselves, maybe even getting friends and family involved.

This competition, which closes tomorrow, is intended to give participants a chance to show off their creative abilities and passion for one of the undisputed leaders of flight aerobatics.
