Uniblue raises €1000 for the AAA
Software development company Uniblue has recently raised funds in aid of the Association of Abandoned Animals (AAA).
With the 100-strong staff having collected €475 between them, the company then doubled and rounded off the amount to €1000. The majority of the donation will go towards rent and bills at the shelter. A percentage of the funds will go towards supplies from Borg Cardona, importers of Royal Canin, who will give discounted food supplies to the AAA. Some staff members are also planning to volunteer at the shelter within the next few weeks.
"The work the AAA does is crucial and often goes unappreciated," commented Christopher Bolin, Uniblue CEO. "I couldn't be prouder of the employees who went out of their way to support this cause, and we were all too happy to double their efforts."
The AAA currently hosts over 135 abandoned dogs, a good majority of them having been left behind by irresponsible owners and forced to fend for themselves. As a non-profit organization, the AAA depends solely on funds donated by the public and is always looking for volunteers to help their small team of five at the shelter.
