Embassy Shopping Complex inaugurates exhibition in aid of l-Istrina
The Embassy Shopping Complex has just inaugurated a Christmas exhibition with a number of chocolate sculptures and cribs on display in aid of l-Istrina
Whoever visits this exhibition can see a full size replica of a real Harley Davidson Fat Boy and a Spanish Galleon made out of Belgian chocolate. These chocolate sculptures were produced by ITS lecturer Mr. Andrew Farrugia and were first exhibited at the Hamrun Chocolate Festival last October.
At the Embassy Complex, one can also see a number of Christmas cribs of various shapes and sizes made out from different media such as cork and polystyrene. These cribs were produced by members from 'Friends of the crib society'.
This exhibition was inaugurated on Saturday 30th November by Parliamentary Secretary Jose Herrera during which he presented certificates to ITS students who together with Mr. Andrew Farrugia broke the record for the longest chocolate bar in Malta.
This exhibition will remain open to the public until 26th December and all donations will be presented to l-Istrina.
