Huge interest in relocation to the Maltese islands

RE/MAX Prestige continued to further promote the Maltese Islands as an ideal relocation destination at one of the most prestigious events held in the sphere of international taxation and corporate structuring – Intax 2011 on 23 and 24 May.

The International Taxation Exposition saw over 300 practitioners from all over the world gathered under one roof at the Westin Hotel. Tax consultants, international companies, corporate services providers, auditors, accountants and bankers came together under one roof for an intense networking conference, unique in quality and format.

“It was highly beneficial to the island that the event took place in Malta, itself considered a financial services centre of excellence,” said RE/MAX co-franchise owner Mark Parlato Trigona.

“As a premier professional services organisation in the real estate industry, serving a high-end, discerning clientele, it is part of our mission to contribute to the sector by providing ongoing support. We are proud to be part of carefully selected events such as these and it was very encouraging to note a high level of interest in our services and in Malta as an ideal relocation hub, especially when communicating tax benefits available in Malta.

“Foreigners re-locating to Malta are at the core of our business. We do however set ourselves apart in the commercial property sector too since such clients often require office space apart from a residence.”

A member of the Federation of Estate Agents, RE/MAX Prestige provides holistic solutions and undivided attention to clients’ prestige property needs in Malta.

It also partners withCSB Group and associated legal firm Zammit & Associates Advocates, who were the main sponsors of this highly-acclaimed event. Together they form a highly synergetic real ‘one-stop-shop’ concept fully equipped to deal with all requirements and services involved in relocating to, or setting up a business in Malta.

CSB Group CEO Mr Michael J. Zammit added: “As main sponsors of the event, we are proud to say that the outcome of this event was positive and was an optimum step in further communicating the benefits of foreign companies setting up shop in Malta. The island of Malta is renowned for its hospitality and Mediterranean charm. It has become a prime location for foreign businesses, property investment, holidays and even as a retirement destination toping the charts of International Living’s quality of life index.”

So funny reading this. We might soon have boatloads of North Europeans at our shores, declaring they want to relocate here!
