Vodafone teams up with Malta Institute of Accountants

Vodafone Malta has teamed up with The Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA) to offer the Institute’s members, student members and staff advantageous offers on any of its extensive range of cutting-edge mobile and internet products and services.

The initiative seeks to create a successful relationship with the Institute by supporting its membership base.

The MIA is the voice of the accountancy profession in Malta providing professional guidance, technical support and continuing professional education to over 1,700 accountants.  It is committed to attracting talented individuals to the profession and invests heavily in the process of educating prospective accountants. The Institute also helps promote an understanding of the role and value of the accountancy profession to the wider Maltese public, and in particular to the local business community. The MIA ensures that professional standards and ethics applied locally meet the requirements of international regulatory bodies and works to uphold the reputation of the profession both locally and overseas.

“As a leading communications provider, Vodafone invests in long-term partnerships because it believes that fostering and maintaining successful relationships with stakeholders is an effective means of doing business,” said Daniel Grech, Vodafone Business Marketing Manager.  “We hope our support for MIA’s operations will help the Institute to not only maintain its active role in the interest of its members in Malta, but to also keep it at the forefront of international developments and debates.”

MIA President Bernard Scicluna, thanked Vodafone Malta for its support.  He said the benefits of the agreement will be passed on to its members, in order to benefit from Vodafone’s latest technology – a priceless service in today’s fast-paced world.
