MUBE orders industrial actions at HSBC

The Malta Union of Bank Employees orders action at HSBC this morning

HSBC employees have been ordered not to provide service to customers from 8.30am to 10.30am while a communications' ban will also take place between 8.00am and noon.

The Malta Union of Bank Employees (MUBE) said that regretfully they had to issue the directives "due to the bank's intransigent position regarding conclusions to the current collective agreement negotiations."

MUBE advised members in the branch network to commence service to customers two hours later than normal. The union said it "regrets any inconvenience caused."
