New property website does away with agency fees

For those looking to buy, sell or rent property, a newly launched website aims to take the hassle – and the agent fee – out of finding the perfect match.

www.noagentsplease.com.mt aims to connect prospective buyers and sellers in one, easy to navigate website that does away with agency fees and offers the necessary tools to get in touch with interested parties.

Owner Chris Grech says that many people try hard to avoid these costs. “I built this website where only property owners are allowed to list and buyers reach owners directly without paying the agency fee,” he explains.

Feedback has been good; according to Grech, the site has seen over a thousand new visitors in the past week alone. To encourage owners and buyers to sign up, the first 1,000 listings are free, after which listing a property for a year will cost €30.

“I strongly believe this website will help buyers during their house hunt,” says Grech, “by doing something different.”
