The Central Bank of Malta (CBM) has warned the public that the Lm10 banknote of the fourth series, which ceased to be legal tender after 13 September 2000, would not remain exchangeable after 13 September 2010.
This banknote, which had a green colour scheme, depicted former President Agatha Barbara on its front and images of the Grand Harbour with its dry-docking facilities on its back.
This banknote could only be exchanged until 13 September 2010 at the Central Bank of Malta Annexe, Saint James’s Counterguard, Valletta, with entrance from the bus terminus or from Girolamo Cassar Avenue, from Monday to Friday between 08.00 am and 12:30 pm.
