Five candidates completed this course.
During her speech, CareMalta’s Chief Executive Officer, Natalie Briffa Farrugia spoke at length about the company’s efforts to maintain the highest standards of care offered to its residents. She pointed out that such a level of service would not be possible were it not for the efforts of its employees.
For this reason CareMalta recognises the importance of investing in the development of its human resource through continuous training. In this regard the company has employed a former lead carer with years of hands on experience in care working as training and development officer focusing solely on the training of carers.
Briffa Farrugia expressed her satisfaction that CareMalta is managing to offer a career as well as the chance to obtain a recognised qualification to many individuals particularly women who return to work after a break to take care of their family. The CEO said that as a company CareMalta offers full support to these employees not only through training but also by implementing a number work-life balance measures as well as by offering an employee assistance programme which has been launched recently in conjunction with the Richmond Foundation.
CareMalta will be starting new City & Guilds courses in healthcare this month and in November. Since both courses are fully subscribed CareMalta intends to start another course in early 2015. Those interested in joining this course should call Ms Angele Darmanin on 22584200.
