I have just seen TVM news in which there was a news item that Actavis Malta is expnding ,well and good. We saw the usual minister and his entourage jumping on the success of this company by trying to get political mileage out of this news. The supposed national PBS depicted this company as being a recent addition to our industry brought over by the PN administration. This far from the truth ,this company which wmployes about 600 has long been established in Malta. It was brought over by the Labour goverment in 1976, just as other as the other success story the SGS was.But somehow through this ommission PBS tried to sell us the story that it was a quiet recent arrival.Just a click on the ACTAVIS malta website will confirm this, but the PBS conviently chose not to do this ...Quo Vadis PBS? Well what do we expect when the PBS is literally up to its gills filled up by ex-NET employees put there by the Minister to bolster this crumbling establishment. A name change is required here for PBS, any suggestions? I propose NETTWO, how about it?
