Banif Bank offers safe deposit lockers from San Ġwann, Gozo branches

A bank statement issued this afternoon explained how with this new offering, the new kid on the block of Maltese banking had “continued to expand its range of services”

Both individuals and business clients could avail themselves of these facilities to store valuable items in a safe location.

A spokesperson from Banif’s Strategy and Image department said when commenting about the new service: “Most people postpone the idea of obtaining a safe deposit box because of other priorities.

“Unfortunately they do not realise how important it is to keep their valuables, private papers and other sentimental documents safe from the dangers of fire, theft and flood until it actually happens”,” he insisted.

Safe deposit boxes were available in two different sizes at “very competitive prices”. Clients could access the safe deposit lockers free of charge at anytime during normal branch opening hours.
