JPA staff attend seminar on digital marketing techniques

3-day programme to solidify and strengthen JP Advertising’s role in the digital world.

Staff at JP Advertising (JPA), one of Malta’s leading communication and marketing agencies, have attended a 3-day seminar in Digital Marketing and Social Media Techniques, delivered by Chartered Institute of Management Course Director Matt King. The course, held on the 19, 20 and 23 August sought to identify the principles that underlie new media strategies, such as to solidify and further strengthen the solutions that JPA offers to current and prospective clients.

The seminar was part-funded by European Union European Social Fund (ESF) under the Digital Marketing and Social Media Operational Programme 11 – Cohesion Policy 2007-2013 Empowering People for More Jobs and Better Quality of Life Aid Schemes, and it focused on new ways of doing marketing in the digital era. While modern techniques and technology do not dismiss traditional media in any way, the changing times along with a new breed of consumers force companies that want to succeed to interact with an audience in a different fashion then they have done thus far.

To help its clients interact with their publics in a way that goes beyond the capabilities of traditional marketing JP Advertising has sought to strengthen its grasp of these technologies and the ‘new world’ they’re opening up for organisations. This relatively new marketing scenario means that organisations and business must not only connect but indeed engage with their audiences thus creating relationships between businesses and consumers which are profitable for both sides. JPA aims to help it clients, current and future, to design superior experiences that are value-centric and that create value with consumers, as opposed to simply delivering value.

The digital world presents both opportunities and threats to organisations and it is important that they are able to take all the advantages they can while seeking to avoid all the pitfalls. By solidifying the ‘digital services’ it offers JPA wants to ensure that its current and prospective clients can benefit from the Internet and the digital world in a way which so far seems to have eluded many businesses across the Maltese Islands. JPA is working to encourage organisations to embrace new channels of communication, to speak to consumers and listen to consumers while also encouraging consumers to engage with each other.

“JPA understands that the world around us is changing and fast, and that traditional marketing and communication techniques are no longer sufficient to deliver an organisation’s message effectively and efficiently to its target public. With over 25 years of experience, JPA has always strived to remain at the forefront of the industry, offering its clients the most effective and efficient marketing and communications solutions. This philosophy has been at the core of all JPA’s activities throughout its history and this mentality has lead us to seek to strengthen our digital marketing skills,” said JPA Managing Director Chris Bianco when talking about the seminar.
