Property newspaper to be distributed every rwo months as from next month

Property newspaper the Property Standard will be distributed from local newsagents for free from the end of next month.

The publishers, Duplex Real Estate Branding, explained how that had taken this decision after conducting “an in-depth study of the content and the distribution model following the publication of the first issue earlier this year”.

This research analysis, according to the publishers, included focus group analysis and client feedback analysis.

As a result, apart from being available from newsagents, the bimonthly full colour newspaper would also be available by subscription by post.

Readers and subscribers would be entitled to a free user name and password to gain access to The Property Standard website, which would be “Malta’s premier real estate news portal and the largest property classified listing in the Maltese Islands”.

Among the innovations to be introduced from next year is a specifically themed feature section in each issue to give readers and advertisers even more added value.

Readers could expect to have “a comprehensive mix of both local and international property-related news stories, features and analysis from all the major stakeholders in the local real estate market”.

Commenting on the TPS re-launch, Duplex REB managing director Keith Pillow said: “TPS is here to stay. We took a deliberate pause after the inaugural issue, published to coincide with the successful Malta Property Expo, to ensure that all the stakeholders are on board.

“The result should give the property industry the platform it has long yearned for, with everyone standing to gain from a product that is a breath of fresh air in the market, backed by a web portal to guarantee timeliness,” he added.

David Grech of Duplex REB, who was managing the project, said: “We are highly excited that The Property Standard is being realised and I am confident that the team we have put together will ensure the publication and web portal will be a success.”
