Through the month of January NM Arrigo Ltd hosted a competition for its retail clients. Lucky winner Julian Bonello won a bottle of 25-year-old Taketsuru whisky.

Masataka Taketsuru is considered the innovator of Japanese whisky; he devoted his life to it. In 1934 he built Yoichi, his first distillery on the island of Hokkaido. Its growing success allowed him to establish a second distillery

The Takesuru 25-year-old whiskey pure malt comes from the two Nikka Distilleries in northern Japan, Yoichi and Miyagikyo. Created in tribute to their founder Masataka Taketsuru, the Nikka Taketsuru is an iconic whiskey for the Japanese brand. Composed of malts aged 25 years, this new gem book on floral aromas, with fine sherry and sweetness related to its long aging, enhanced by a peat edge.
