Alter Domus opens new offices in Malta, Belgium
Luxembourg-based international financial services firm Alter Domus has announced the opening on an office in Malta, and another in Belgium.
Alter Domus is a leading independent company headquartered in Luxembourg. It employs more than 350 people worldwide, and provides fully integrated financial services.
The company announced this morning in a statement that the Maltese office would be led by accountant Chris Casapinta.
Before joining Alter Domus, Chris spent ten years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. During his career he worked on various audit assignments as well as high profile capital market transactions mainly in the financial services industry.
Most of Chris’s career was spent within the Luxembourg office, however he worked in a number of other offices including Boston in the United States, Milan in Italy, London, in the United Kingdom, and Malta.
The new Alter Domus office in Malta would offer corporate and management support to holding and financing companies of multinationals, investment firms, and other privately held companies.
Shortly, the Malta office would also offer fund administration services.
Alter Domus CEO Dominique Robyns expressed his excitement about the opening of the two new offices.
“As a preferred provider of outsourced administration services for multinational corporations and alternative investment funds, our focus at Alter Domus is always on delivering solutions that meet the needs of our clients, wherever they may be,” he insisted.
With regard to the new office in Malta, Robyns said: "Being part of the EU, with a growing treaty network and its importance as a fund domicile of choice, we believe that Malta is a logical expansion of our office network.”
Besides Malta, Alter Domus’ offices are located in Cyprus, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Jersey, Luxembourg, Mauritius, The Netherlands and Singapore. Alter Domus also maintains a representative office in New York.
