Former GO chief operations’ officer appointed company non-executive director
Listed telecoms’ company GO plc has announced that non-executive director Yiannos Michaelides has resigned from office with effect from 1 November 1 2010.
The company also announced that Slovak national Norbert Prihoda, who resided at Palm Jumeirah, in Dubai, was going to be appointed as a non-executive director of GO plc also with effect from 1 November 2010.
The announcements were made in a company announcing filed this morning at the Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) by GO company secretary Francis Galea Salamone.
Prihoda had only recently relinquished his role as GO chief operations’ officer and had returned to Emirates International Telecommunications LLC (EITL), the company’s major shareholder.
In Dubai, Prihoda had assuming a senior group role with responsibility for EITL’s portfolio group.
Prihoda had previously served as Group Marketing Director for EITL, prior to which he had occupied various commercial roles with various operators including T-Mobile, in a number of markets in Europe and the Middle East.
The company’s Board of Directors thanked Michaelides for his loyal service to the company and wished him success for the future.
