RSM Malta appoints new director
Timothy Zammit has been appointed director of the audit, tax and advisory firm
RSM Malta, one of Malta’s leading audit, tax and advisory firms, has appointed Dr Timothy Zammit as Director.
In his new role within the Tax & Corporate service line, Timothy will be overseeing the tax and corporate team, under the guidance of the partner responsible for Tax & Corporate George Gregory, with additional specific responsibility to further develop the firm’s services in the tax, corporate, estate planning and financial services sectors.
Before his appointment to this Directorship post, Timothy held the post of Tax Lawyer at the firm for a number of years. He was primarily responsible for advising clients on international and domestic corporate structures while assisting clients with their tax planning requirements.
With almost a decade of experience, Timothy has established himself in providing accurate and innovative advice while ensuring compliance with clients’ obligations. Throughout his career, Timothy has advised a wide range of clients from Fortune 500 companies to sole traders providing financial services, remote gaming & online services, shipping, health, aviation, hotel and engineering services.
Zammit read Law at the University of Malta and graduated as a Doctor of Laws in 2005 and was admitted to the Maltese bar the following year. He subsequently read for a Master of Arts in Financial Services.
