EY launches its annual event ‘Welcome to Brussels’
The keynote speaker will be David Doyle, Senior Policy Advisor in EU Financial Services Regulation at EY
EY is delighted to present its annual “Wake up to Brussels” event which has become a national benchmark for providing the best insider's perspective on EU financial services legislation. The event will be held on Friday 20 November at Corinthia San Gorg. Registration will be open at 08:30hrs and the event will draw to a close by 11:00hrs.
Grace Camilleri, Executive Director at EY Malta said that ‘the event will focus on key topics of importance including bank structural reform, Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD), moves to bail-in based on Total Loss-Absorbing Capacity (TLAC), MIFID II, Packaged Retail Investment Products (PRIPs), Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision (IORP) Directive and Money Market fund regulation.
‘We strongly believe that the event will be of particular interest to CEOs, CFOs, CROs, compliance and legal officers and other interested representatives of banks and financial institutions, insurance companies and funds.’
The keynote speaker will be David Doyle, Senior Policy Advisor in EU Financial Services Regulation at EY. He is a former diplomat with more than 25 years' experience in multi- and bi-lateral assignments in mainland Europe. David enjoys prompt access to key MEPs and other influential players in the legislative space within the European Commission.
