The Waterfront Hotel hosts Amedeo Minghi
The popular Italian singer was in Malta for a concert last week
Popular Italian singer Amedeo Minghi was welcomed on December 3 at The Waterfront Hotel on the Sliema seafront where he stayed during his visit to Malta for the concert with Corazon Mizzi at Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta, on Friday December 4.
The Waterfront Hotel is part of the Mizzi Organisation.
This was the singer’s third visit to Malta. He gave a concert in Gozo in 2006 and another one at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in 2009. During his last interviews, Minghi was widely quoted promoting music as an instrument of peace, which is not only a possibility but a duty.
Minghi is famous for his 90s song ‘Vattene Amore’. During the Malta concert, he presented his new album ‘Suoni tra ieri e domani’ and some of his most popular songs.
