LCT Consultants Ltd on the future of customer service

Malta-based LCT Consultants Ltd founder Luke Todd was recently invited to the UK’s thriving Customer Contact Expo to highlight the company’s success with its multi-channel customer support for client Gumtree. The two-and-a-half-day event was held at the London Olympia.

LCT Consultants, which recently celebrated its first successful year in Malta, work with various companies locally, in the UK and beyond, to further their connection with clients and to help give customers the ultimate experience while using a service or product.

Thus, in October, company founder, Todd, delivered a seminar to peers and colleagues in the customer service industry. The focus was on their work with eBay client, Gumtree.com, for whom they have helped to transform customer service operations while also improving its customers’ experience of the website.

Speaking at the Expo, Todd said that, “One has to find the right balance between cost and service… Pushing self-help content, streamlining contact into efficient channels, taking insights into drivers of contacts and solving consumers’ issues should be the top priorities in the present and future of customer service.”

The Customer Contact Expo, which takes place annually, “is a fantastic hub that helps those in the industry source new products and learn about innovative practices by providing customer contacts solutions, holding workshops and helping to forge connections between those attending,” Todd adds.

Meanwhile, in Malta, Mr Todd and LCT Consultant co-director Kelly McSherry, are now working with various businesses and entrepreneurs on a variety of topics including Business Insights, Business Process Implementation and Business Coaching.
