Two new directors, principal at Deloitte
Michael Bianchi and Ian Coppini promoted to the position of director, Patrick Mangion appointed to the position of principal
Deloitte has announced the appointment of two new directors within the Audit service line and a new principal within its Financial Services Industry function with effect from 1 January 2016. Michael Bianchi and Ian Coppini have been promoted to the position of director, whilst Patrick Mangion has been appointed to the position of principal.
Michael Bianchi joined Deloitte in 2000 and during his time with the firm has worked on a varied local and international client base. He is responsible for a number of statutory audits specialising in entities operating in the Financial Services Industry. In 2007, Michael was transferred to the Deloitte UK office in London where he worked on a portfolio of multinational companies in the Insurance and Investments Management Practice for two years.
Ian Coppini joined Deloitte in 2000 and has over 15 years’ experience in audits of public and private entities engaged in a variety of industries. His specialisation is in entities operating in the Financial Services Industry, particularly focusing on clients operating in the Insurance Industry. During his time with Deloitte, Ian has worked at Deloitte offices overseas, namely Luxembourg and New York where he spent two years.
Patrick Mangion joined Deloitte in 1996. He has been actively involved in the financial services regulated sector for the past 12 years. Patrick is a subject matter expert in asset management, representing Deloitte Malta at a number of local and international asset management fora. He has worked at Deloitte offices in Budapest, London and Zurich.
