Malta Baby and Kids Directory launches art competition

The Malta Baby & Kids Directory team have announced the launch of their latest exciting painting competition, proudly sponsored by Faber-Castell, for children aged between 4 and 14 years.

This year, one of your child’s paintings could feature on the cover of the next Malta Baby & Kids Directory - 10th edition, which will be launched in the beginning of July 2016. 

The competition, with the theme ‘Saving Malta’s Unique Environment’ is being sponsored by AFE Trading Limited, local representatives for Faber-Castell. Faber-Castell actively contributes to protecting the environment, by minimising its environmental footprint throughout the entire life cycle of its product range. Products are ‘green’ because they are reliable, long lasting, pollutant free and come from Co2 neutral production. 

Encourage your children, students and/or friends to put colour to their dreams and forward their works of art.  Don’t miss this unique opportunity to showcase their artistic talents.

To participate, they are to send in their paintings, which must be A3 or A4 in size and can be in any media including crayon, oil, watercolour, colour pencil etc. by 20 May 2016. These can be interpreted in an abstract or realistic style.

There are many attractive prizes up for grabs-

 - For the winner and first runner-up - Two €50 vouchers for Faber-Castell products of their choice generously donated by AFE Trading Limited.

 - Twelve Faber-Castell Art Packs, courtesy of AFE Trading Limited, for the runners-up.

The first dozen runners-up will also be given a bag of sweets from Candylicious in San Gwann and entrance tickets to Playmobil FunPark Malta.

Entries will be judged by prominent local artist Kenneth Zammit Tabona. The winning picture will feature on the front cover of Malta Baby & Kids Directory’s 10th edition, and the top twelve runners-up will have their painting featured inside the directory.
