Gasco Energy Ltd has awarded a €1.95 million contract to Mekanika Ltd

Gasco Energy Ltd has recently awarded a €1.95 millioncontract to Mekanika Ltd for the commissioning of mechanical and electrical services, as well as the supply, installation and maintenance of lifts and air-conditioning at the new €20 million LPG cylinder-filling plant under construction being planned at Benghajsa. This plant is due to be completed by September 2012.

Mekanika Ltd offers a complete spectrum of products including lifts and escalators, facilities management, HVAC, industrial products and building services contracting. Mekanika is the exclusive representative of KONE Lifts and escalators and Sanyo Air-Conditioners in Malta.  Mark Gasan, Managing Director of Mekanika LTD said “Mekanika keeps going from strength to strength adding important contracts to its already significant portfolio. Mekanika is the exclusive representative of Sanyo air-conditioners that will be utilised in the Gasco Energy building.  Sanyo’s ECO G Range is the latest generation of Gas Heat Pump (GHP) VRF systems. Unlike traditional electric powered VRF systems, the GHP utilises an open drive compressor powered by a reciprocating engine powered by LPG.When compared to traditional electric powered VRF systems, the GHP offers a number of significant economic and ecological advantages.
