EY Malta Managed Services gets ISO certification

EY Malta Managed services has been awarded ISO 27001 certification. EY's Managed Services center was launched in February 2015 during a seminar which EY Malta held in London and currently employs more than 50 staff members. 

ISO 27001 is an international standard related to information security management. It ensures that a systematic approach is adopted to manage sensitive company information so that it remains secure. 

“ISO certification will enhance our current service offering and guarantee the highest level of security to our clients,” said Joette Mallia who heads EY Malta’s Managed Services. Ronald Attard, managing partner of EY Malta, pointed out that EY has invested heavily in Managed Services, having its own dedicated premises with special security access. 

“We are incredibly satisfied to have secured ISO certification within our first year of operations. This will now allow us to keep expanding the amount of work we take on and the number of people we can train and recruit in this area” said Mr Attard. 

Managed services supports the ongoing need of our clients in reducing cost, increasing flexibility and meeting regulatory requirements including remediation services, transaction monitoring and know your customer screening, cybersecurity, tax reporting solutions and other advisory services.
