GoOutMalta.com turns to ZAAR to boost brand awareness
Launched in 2015, the website has already achieved a remarkable standing within the marketplace, with a reach of around 50,000 people/followers online every month
The Maltese Islands are now more cosmopolitan than ever before. From top restaurants and bars, to a lively year-round calendar of activities and events, life here has become exciting and dynamic.
Now, like in most cities and countries, there exists the need for people to know what’s going on. Tourists and locals are all eager to find out the must-visit events, and to zone in on the best of what’s on offer. Thus, avenues have been created to help them do exactly that.
One such avenue is the popular website GoOutMalta.com, which provides interesting ideas for those seeking inspiration about what to do in Malta and Gozo.
Launched in 2015, the website has already achieved a remarkable standing within the marketplace, with a reach of around 50,000 people/followers online every month. Now, though, they have started a funding page on Maltese crowd-funding website ZAAR.com.mt to raise €3,000 in 90 days. The funds generated will be used to give the site more brand awareness, and help to take its information to more people than ever before – both locally and internationally.
The site’s owners, married British couple Zanna and Marc Mason, are experts on the digital sphere and very passionate about supporting local trade and talent online. Zanna has life-long ties with the Maltese islands, and the couple are now achieving their dream goal – to live and work in Malta full time.
“We work with a variety of enterprises and are keen supporters of home-grown talent. Our main aim was to become completely absorbed in the local business and community, and to be able to give them a great marketing platform to grow and build their businesses. We have accomplished that with GoOutMalta,” says Zanna.
Now the company needs investment to drive it to the next level. “We are a very credible business and have come a long way in a short time – but we now find ourselves parked at a crossroads! We need to grow, and that requires us to reach out into print publications and ambient marketing, which is something our business just cannot afford to do,” Marc continues.
“However, we are determined to reach our dream and ZAAR Crowd-funding presents us with the perfect opportunity to achieve that. Donations mean we can grow our business over the next few years, and the majority of donations received will be spent locally with publishing and promotional companies, and used to support local community events, new business and talent. Our donation target has been formulated out of all the costs involved.”
In return for their donations, GoOutMalta is offering backers a number of rewards. “We’re very grateful for any support and we will be rewarding everybody – whether with a logo or picture on our Supporters’ Page or a one-to-one social media consultancy session. In addition, the reward for a €500 donation will be the creation of a standalone awareness page on GoOutMalta for the charity of the backer’s choice.
“All the rewards are win-win for all involved and we are now eager to work towards hitting our target,” concludes Zanna.
