Four new partners at Ganado Advocates
The new appointments now bring the number of partners at Ganado Advocates up to 18, and come at a time when the firm is registering consistent growth in its legal resource base.
Ganado Advocates have announced the appointment of four new partners: Nikolai Muscat Farrugia, Matthew Brincat, Paul Micallef Grimaud and Christine Cassar Naudi, all established professionals within the firm’s practice areas.
In a statement, the firm said that the newly-appointed partners had all brought specialisation and a wealth of expertise, helping to further develop each respective key area within the firm.
Muscat Farrugia regularly assisted clients in corporate matters, with particular focus on the formation and support of companies and corporate restructuring as well as M&A transactions.
Brincat’s areas of practice were employment and pensions, and he was a well-known figure both locally and internationally in both areas of law, which he had been spearheading within the firm.
Micallef Grimaud lead the firm’s intellectual property, telecoms, media and technology practice and was also notably active in commercial disputes of an international and national dimension.
Cassar Naudi, now tax partner, worked within the firm’s corporate finance and tax practice, providing advice to clients on various tax matters, and was responsible for the creation and development of the firm’s tax practice in the yachting sphere.
The new appointments now bring the number of partners at Ganado Advocates up to 18, and come at a time when the firm is registering consistent growth in its legal resource base.
Louis Cassar Pullicino, Ganado Advocates’ managing partner, said he was delighted to welcome the new partners and noted that the appointments reflected the firm’s confidence in its future growth and that of its clients.
“It is thanks to initiatives pursued by professionals like Nikolai, Matthew, Paul and Christine that the firm has grown steadily over such a little span of time,” he said.
“The new partners are seasoned professionals in their respective fields who have demonstrated great ability and enthusiasm not only in growing the firm’s business within their area of practice, but also in helping the firm venture and establish itself in new areas which were still unexplored.”
