Fiorucci celebrates 40 years in Malta, imported and distributed by Attard & Co Food
On 26th September, local importers and distributors of Fiorucci, Attard & Co Food, celebrated 40 years since the brand’s introduction to the local market.
Around 700 guests, including Attard & Co Food’s top clientele from the catering, confectionery and retail industries, attended the celebration at Villa Arrigo, Naxxar.
Present were Fiorucci’s CEO Alberto Alfieri, Fiorucci’s Export Manager Roberta Iannotta, Fiorucci’s Marketing Manager Giuseppe Pace, Luca Guidotti, Customer Service Export for Fiorucci, as well as the company’s CEO at Campiofrio group, Rui Anjo. Representing Attard & Co Food were Director Mario Muscat and Managing Director Pierre Pellegrini Petit.
In his address, Alfieri described the positive relations that exist between Fiorucci and Attard & Co. He said that the success of Fiorucci in Malta was greatly attributed to Attard & Co’s professionalism, excellent distribution management as well as the company’s strong knowledge and experience in operating within the local market.
Pellegrini Petit and Muscat emphasized on how the success of the world renowned brand in Malta was largely due to the commitment and hard work of Attard & Co’s employees as well as the company’s loyal clients.
Fiorucci was introduced to the local market 40 years ago. Going from strength to strength, Fiorucci is today a household name, synonymous with quality, authenticity and fine produce. If the label says Fiorucci, superior value intrinsically awaits.
"After years of successfully curating the iconic brand and making it accessible to a wide range of customers, the company now looks forward to a new chapter, as Fiorucci introduces Cinque Stelle, a refined line of authentic cold cuts, dedicated to the connoisseur looking for the best Italian meats."
A 17-piece brass band entertained the guests as they networked and savoured a full custom menu based on Fiorucci’s flagship products. Fiorucci’s top of the range premium products were also served over a vintage style deli counter whilst guests were invited to have their photo taken on a typical Italian vintage Lambretta.
Guests received a special Fiorucci recipe book and photos printed on the spot at the event.
Fiorucci is imported and distributed by Attard & Co Food. Today, the Food portfolio exceeds 240 brands and has over 85 employees.
