Arriva Malta launches new website

The new website will be the source for all information about Arriva Malta and the bus services that will be operating in Malta and Gozo. The Arriva Team will be launching the site over various phases, adding sections with more functionality as the actual launch of the service gets closer. The company will start operating on the 3rd of July 2011.

The site has been developed in English and Maltese, with clear, easy to use navigational buttons. Alert Communications came up with a user intuitive design, allowing users to access the information they require in a few clicks. The main page of the Arriva site gives prominence to the most important links and pages in the site. This includes ‘Buy Tickets Online’ and ‘My Journey’.  Both items will be launched at a later stage in the coming year. The site design keeps in line with the Arriva international image but also includes some fine tweaks for local elements. 

The new Arriva site has been developed using the Alert Web Publisher. This powerful content management system developed by Alert, makes it possible for the Arriva staff to create new pages in the site and update the pages that they have with new information.  The site also displays the latest News on the main page, using the News Module within the Alert Web Publisher. The Arriva website also includes an extensive online application form for prospective workers who wish to join the Arriva Team.
