10% more Maltese visit Gozo over Easter

The Gozo Channel registered a 10.6% increase in passengers travelling to Gozo during Easter week when compared to the same period last year, the Gozo Ministry said this morning, setting a new record.

The number of cars also increased by 10.6%.  

According to the ministry, this Easter period saw 12 more trips than last year. “This led to decreased waiting time, despite a ferry experiencing technical problems,” the ministry added.
