Treasury announces floating rate of Government stock at 1.786%

The semi-annual interest rate in respect of the floating rate Malta Government Stock 2013 (VI) linked to the six-month Euribor for the period of 11/02/2011 to 10/08/2011(both dates included) shall be 1.786%.

In a statement announcing the floating rate, the government said that the semi-annual interest rate is based on the six-month Euribor as determined and published on Tuesday 8th February, 2011 at 1.336% plus a spread of 45 basis points.
