Alert Communications gets NCPE certification
The National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE) has awarded Alert Communications the Equality Certificate for basing its management practices on the recognition of the potential of all employees.
NCPE envisions a society which is equal and free from discrimination on the grounds of gender, race or ethnic origin. The Equality Mark is a certification awarded to companies that demonstrate a commitment towards the best practices in this area.
Alert company’s policies are built in such a way to respect individuals’ capabilities irrespective of their gender, race or ethnicity. Encouraging gender diversity at each level of the company’s structure, Alert encourages more innovative approaches to its Web development and Design work, based on the different skills and experiences of both genders.
The Equality Mark goes to a passionate advocate of gender equality in the IT industry, Claudine Cassar, who is the owner of Alert Communication.
"It is important to operate within an environment that supports gender equality." says Claudine. "The IT industry is typically male-dominated, and lacks the creative input of female engineers, designers, and programmers working behind the scenes, and enriching the corporate outcome. We are very happy to be awarded this Certificate for making the gender equality one of our company’s values."
