CSB partner is Malta Sotheby’s new managing director

Malta Sotheby’s International Realty has appointed Michael J. Zammit as managing director with immediate effect.

Zammit, co-owner of the franchise, takes over from Ian Zammit, who was general manager of the Malta office since June 2013.

Zammit was also instrumental in attracting the Regus managed office space facility to Malta in 2009. He has an established track record of 15 years in corporate and professional company management services within the CSB Group.

“The Sotheby’s International Realty brand complements CSB Group’s position in the market and its service-offering to a predominantly international client base. Furthermore, we will ensure our team of sales associates adhere to the quality standards and reputation that CSB Group has built over the last 27 years,” Zammit said.

“The attraction of the Malta Sotheby’s International Realty luxury realty brand to Malta serves both the international client looking for high-end real estate investment in Malta and Gozo, and also local clients seeking real estate investment opportunities worldwide through our international network. The latter offering has already created interest amongst Malta-based international investors, surpassing our expectations”.

Zammit said Sotheby’s intends expanding its local office network to strategic locations, with a third office location already being considered less than one year since the launch of the brand.

“We are optimistic that this trend of inward direct investment by international investors in Maltese real estate opportunities is on the increase given Malta’s attractive lifestyle and regulatory offering,” Zammit said.
