ESkills Malta to offer courses during EU Code Week
The eSkills Malta Foundation, in collaboration with MCAST, is organising a series of short courses on various subjects such as app development, website building and networks
Coding is what makes it possible for us to create computer software, apps or websites. Your browser, your OS, the apps on your phone, Facebook, and various other social media platforms are all made with code. In its simplest form coding will allow anyone to create a website, blog or even build a simple mobile app. Above all however coding enables us to understand more about the technology which is constantly reshaping our world.
During the third edition of EU Code Week, between 10 and 18 October 2015, thousands of coding events will be organised around Europe for kids, young people and adults. Once again millions of children, youths, adults, parents, teachers, entrepreneurs and policymakers across Europe will come together in events and classrooms across Europe to learn how to experiment and create new stuff with code.
In Malta, the eSkills Malta Foundation, in collaboration with MCAST, is organising a series of short courses on various subjects such as how to develop your first mobile app, how to build a site or blog, how to design a logical network, and also on how to use Python and C#.
These eight sessions are open for everyone (as long as they have basic computer skills) and are free, with the first session taking place this coming Saturday 10 October 2015. The goal is to show participants how they can create new things through coding in a simple and practical manner.
