Social media outrage over woman targeted in revenge porn

Social media users have reacted angrily to news of a woman targeted by a revenge porn video, in which the woman is seen having sex.

The offence of revenge porn carries a fine of €3,000 for the perpetrator, and according to TVM.com.mt, the police has been alerted to the video.

The video was deliberately posted to various Facebook profiles and anonymously sent to WhatsApp users.

On Facebook, various users have sent out appeals not to share the video.
