Mexican jalapeño, cranberry cheese spread
Try this great Mexican snack with Maltese galetti!
Ingredients
- 2 tubs cream cheese
- 100g cheddar cheese, grated
- 2-4 tbsp chopped jalapeño chillies, from a jar
- 3 tbsp pecan nuts, chopped
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper
- Cranberries to coat
Method
- Soften the cream cheese and add the cheddar.
- Mix in the nuts and jalapeños.
- Add the cayenne pepper, slat and pepper.
- Form it in to a ball. Put in fridge to set.
- Before serving roll it on the cranberries to coat it.
- Serve with galletti.
