Rainbow pancakes
Why not start the day with a colourful stack of pancakes? A couple of drops of food colouring, and you have a rainbow on your plate
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 200g flour
- 2 large eggs
- 250ml milk
- 50ml sunflower oil
- Red, blue, green food colouring
- Bar of milk chocolate and white chocolate.
- Strawberries
- Sprinkles
Method
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, flour, milk and oil until smooth.
- Separate out the batter into 3 smaller bowls.
- Add drops of food colouring to each small bowl to create different coloured batters.
- Pre-heat a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the batter from each small bowl in the pan for 2 minutes on each side.
- Garnish pancakes with strawberries, melted chocolate, sprinkles or toppings of your choice.
