OVRM Lounge and Piano Bar | Business and pleasure

Though not officially a restaurant, the OVRM Lounge and Piano Bar is a great spot to meet friends whatever time of day - for a light snack at lunchtime, a quick cup of coffee on a busy day, tea and cakes on a Sunday afternoon or cocktails before dinner.

The menu offers a variety of light snacks including sumptuous mezzes like fried tortillas with hummus, tapanade and sundried tomatoes or a warm Camembert topped with garlic and thyme served with Maltese ftira or grab a platter to share, whether it's the European cheese platter or a selection of Japanese sushi served with soy and pickled ginger.

For something a bit more filling though keeping on the light side go for a scrumptious salad or a wrap with chicken or salmon. For the hungry people out there OVRM also offer pasta dishes and food from the grill - fillet of sea bass, black angus beef fillet or veal loin.

A unique children's menu is available at any of the Westin restaurants and features an infant section with pureed carrot and pumpkin, chicken and veg or fruit - a great option for busy mum's who don't have the time to prepare baby's food before going out to eat or for those who simply want to relax and enjoy an afternoon out.

The children's menu offers all the regular favourites with a some healthier options thrown in. Every dish offers an analysis of the calories, fats and carbohydrates so that mummies can make sure their little ones are getting the very best.

The ORVM Lounge and Piano Bar is the perfect spot to mix business and pleasure with free WIFI, making it an ideal meeting spot and the great selection of cocktails to wind down when business is done, all whilst listening to tunes by pianist Edmund Zarb from 7pm until late.

On Sundays indulge in tea time treats. Delight yourself with a lavish tea including a lavish selection of tea pastries and dry cakes, warm scones served with jam and cream, a selection of cheese, ham and smoked salmon sandwiches and a pot of tea for two at €14.50

Alternatively take the cakes home. Order off of a menu of 20 homemade cakes, beautifully decorated and supremely indulgent. Try the Belgian chocolate cake or the traditional lemon meringue.
