MHRA launches dineinmalta.com – promoting restaurants and wine bars

The www.dineinmalta.com website features all catering establishments licensed with the Malta Tourism Authority, and provides information according to cuisine, type of outlet, locality and area of specialty, in an easy to use manner.

This venture follows MHRA’s strategy to promote the Malta and Gozo restaurants and other catering outlets both for business and pleasure, with tourists and locals alike. It also serves as a platform for MHRA to reach out to the catering trade and to encourage and recognise quality in service.

Establishments owners will also have the option to upgrade their listing and provide further information about their services and cuisine and to upload photos in a dedicated photo gallery.

The site will shortly be featuring additional information and a facility to make reservations through SMS and home delivery orders for those outlets offering such a service. This feature will be provided by Go Mobile.

BeeGuides Ltd will be managing the website, and will carry out joint promotional activities, together with MHRA. Representatives from BeeGuides Ltd will be conducting one-to- one visits to licensed catering outlets in order to assist and encourage establishments to market their outlets and services in a more effective manner.

MHRA is, in the meantime, working on a ‘Recommended Label’ scheme for restaurateurs which will be launched shortly. This scheme will award those establishments that demonstrate a commitment to deliver quality and value for money to customers. This label will provide customers with a quality assurance and professional management of the establishment.
