Brown’s launches community oriented Health & Beauty extension
Brown’s has recently launched its Health & Beauty extension that will focus on educating the public with regard to general wellbeing
Having garnered repeated success over the past couple of years, Brown’s pharmacy is once again positioning itself as an industry leader, this time in the realm of Health and Beauty.
Enjoying a presence throughout Malta’s busiest cities, Brown’s set out to be a leading pharmacy business with a strong sense of responsibility towards its community.
As a result, Brown’s has recently launched its Health & Beauty extension that will focus on educating the public with regard to general wellbeing.
“We believe that we can bring change by educating the public through various activations and awareness campaigns on health related issues, such as skin cancer, obesity, STDs, health and wellbeing among others,” Brown’s retail director Alexander Fenech said.
“In addition, the company shall also be diversifying and developing its beauty treatment offerings by including laser hair removal and teeth whitening to its existing services.”
Health & Beauty by Brown’s will aim to create public health campaigns, to raise public awareness and understanding on health issues and to mobilise support for action from the local community.
“Whether it is promoting children vaccination, smoking cessation, or creating sun protection awareness in our community, we aim to contribute through engagement on social media, as well as by raising or donating funds towards the different causes,” he added.
The aim behind this initiative, is to involve the community as much as possible through a series of public activations and campaigns. To this end, Health & Beauty by Brown’s representatives will be present in various locations during the summer distributing sunblock in order to raise awareness about the importance of protecting oneself from the sun’s rays whilst enjoying outdoor activities. The first activation took place in Qormi on Sunday, 17th July during the feast procession.
