Two die of AIDS in 2016; 317 new STD cases so far
In response to parliamentary questions put to him, health minister Chris Fearne reveals that two foreigners have died of AIDS in 2016 so far
Two persons had died of AIDS so far in 2016, according to health minister Chris Fearne, who was replying to a question put to him by MP Luciano Busuttil in parliament on Wednesday.
Fearne said that the two AIDS victims were foreign nationals, aged 30 and 35.
In reponse to another question, Fearne said that 317 new cases of sexually transmitted diseases had been recorded between January and September.
