Tourism minister meets Brit on his 50th visit to Malta
Tourism minister Edward Zammit Lewis welcomes British man as he arrives for his 50th visit to Malta
British national Paul Stainer yesterday paid a courtesy visit to tourism minister Edward Zammit Lewis on his 50th visit to the islands.
Thanking Stainer for his loyalty, the minister said his experience was “a certificate for Malta’s tourism sector.”
Half of the visitors from Britain, from where the majority of tourists come, have visited Malta on more than one occasion.
Underlining the importance of repeat tourism, Zammit Lewis said this could only be strengthened if the country improves the quality of its product and services.
