International travel egents experience English teaching excellence at IELS
During the same week, IELS also hosted an international sales conference and welcomed LAL Group’s sales managers from all over the world.
IELS has recently hosted 38 language travel agents from 14 countries, spanning four continents, to showcase the different educational programmes offered at the school. Other services, including accommodation and entertainment, tailor-made for foreign students visiting Malta and Gozo, were also presented.
These visits are organised by IELS on a yearly basis. They are aimed at both new and long-standing agents to experience first-hand the consistently superior products and services which IELS provides, as well as promoting Malta as a hallmark destination for a unique cultural experience.
During the same week, IELS also hosted an international sales conference and welcomed LAL Group’s sales managers from all over the world. The annual conference is usually held in the UK and this was the first time it was held in Malta. The school hosted participants from all over the world, including the UK, Brazil, South Africa, Germany, Slovakia and Asia to discuss the global sales strategy of LAL Group, which IELS is a part of.
“Our school has 30 years of experience in offering quality products, gaining a world-wide reputation for being highly effective,” said General Manager Alex Lanczet.
“IELS has become one of the largest all-year-round schools in Malta and welcomes students from over 40 different countries, with a plethora of ages, cultures and backgrounds. Our academic team regularly attends conferences and runs pilot projects in order to keep abreast with the latest pedagogical trends and innovations. As a consequence, it’s well known that the school contributes considerably to the overall growth of EFL teaching quality on the island.”
Furthermore, IELS is the only school in Malta that offers both Cambridge Esol CELTA and DELTA teacher training courses, two of the most sought after and distinguished qualifications that an English language teacher can attain. It also hosts a wide range of exam preparation as well as ‘English for specific purposes’ (ESP) courses, which are taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers.
