Air Malta launches a new product – baggage pass vouchers
New product for customers who require extra weight over and above the standard allowance offered free by the airline which is 20Kgs to each passenger travelling in economy class and 30Kgs to each Club Class passenger.
Air Malta customers are now able to purchase pre-paid booklets of 10, 20 or 30 coupons. Each coupon is equivalent to 5Kgs. A booklet of 10 coupons costs €300 for a total of 50Kgs excess weight. Customers are also entitled to 500 Flypass KMiles upon purchase of this booklet. This product also comes in booklets of 20 coupons also of 5Kgs each. This costs €500 redeemable to 100Kgs extra weight. This product earns clients 1500 Flypass KMiles. These two types of booklets are intended for the individual traveller. These coupons are non-transferable.
Another item that forms part of this product is the 30 coupon booklet which is aimed to corporate clients. This booklet entitles clients a total of 150Kgs extra weight and each 5Kg coupon is transferable. 2500 Flypass KMiles are attached to this product.
The Baggage Pass vouchers can be purchased from Air Malta’s Sales Office at Malta International Airport not less than seven days prior the intended date of usage and each booklet is valid for one year from the date of issue.
Vouchers are to be presented at Air Malta check-in desk and each one is valid for a one-way trip. They are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Certain conditions may apply.
