Air Malta to increase seat capacity to Brussels during summer
Air Malta plans to increase seat capacity by 20,000 seats on its Brussels route this summer
Air Malta plans to increase seat capacity on its Brussels route this summer by over 25%, with 20,000 seats.
According to the national airline, this increased capacity and growth on this route attracts rising numbers of conference organisers to Malta.
Air Malta added that a number of important EU Commission conferences are planned for this June, with over 2,000 delegates converging from all over Europe to Malta. For this reason, on top of the planned scheduled services, Air Malta has programmed three additional flights servicing Brussels.
“The Maltese airline is actively looking for new revenue opportunities, and together with the cooperation of stakeholders, it offers flexibility by adjusting its network capacity when and where needed,” Air Malta CCO Paul Sies said.
Last year Air Malta carried 84% of all the traffic between Malta and Brussels.
