Emirates launches fully-integrated hotel and car hire reservations

The service allows passengers to book flights, hotels and car hire under one reference booking or to add hotel rooms and car hire to existing itinerary via the Booking Manager. If no hotels cars have been booked, the system will automatically offer personalised results based on travel dates and booking destinations for the existing flight itinerary. Modifications and cancellations can also be made online.

Stopover options in Dubai also allow online booking for hotels and include a meet and assist at the airport and hotel transfers.

23,000 hotels are available in approximately 3,200 cities in 130 countries across the world, while car hire is offered in 110 countries.

Senior Vice President Network Passenger Sales Development, Russell Sheldon said: “Convenience is the key reason for our decision to provide land products – in addition to airline tickets – on our website.  Travellers now have a one-stop shop for booking all of their core travel needs.”

Emirates operates flights on a daily schedule from Malta to Dubai via Larnaca, Cyprus.
