The lifeless body of Manuel Giovanelli has been found at sea off Ċirkewwa

A man who had been reported missing on Thursday has been found dead

The body of the man, Manuel Giovanelli, a 42-year-old Italian national, was found by the Armed Forces of Malta in the sea off Ċirkewwa at around 10pm on Friday, the police said.

Magistrate Marsanna Farrugia has started an inquiry on the case.

Police investigations are ongoing.
