Man seriously injured after being hit by car

A 44-year-old man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in St Paul’s Bay.

The accident occurred at 6:30am in Triq il-Korp tal-Pijunieri.

Police said the victim, from Birzebugia was hit by a Citroen C5 driven by a 34-year-old Libyan man.

A police investigation is ongoing.
