Two hospitalised after traffic accident in Rabat

Two youths were hospitalised following a traffic accident in Rabat on Sunday evening.

The accident occurred at 11:50pm in Triq Buqana.

Police said a 19-year-old from San Pawl il-Bahar lost control of the Suzuki Samura he was driving, causing the vehicle to overturn. A 17-year-old girl from Siggiewi was also in the vehicle.

An ambulance took both youths to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

A police investigation is ongoing.
