Cash stolen in San Gwann shop hold-up

An armed man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after a hold-up at a shop in San Gwann on Wednesday evening.

The incident took place at 8:30pm in Triq in-Naxxar.

Police said the man, armed with a firearm, walked into the shop and demanded cash.

A police investigation is ongoing.
